How we protect students.

Many of our students are minors. These commitments are built into the platform itself — enforced by the database, not just by policy. Full formal documents (privacy policy, terms, safeguarding procedures) are being finalized and will live on this page.

Private by default

Student profiles are never public and never searchable. A mentor sees a student's name and goals only after that student chooses to contact them.

Verified mentors

Every mentor is reviewed by the Innovate Tigray team before appearing to students. Contact details are revealed only inside an accepted mentorship.

Minimal data

We don't collect addresses, phone numbers, or birthdates. What we don't have can't be exposed.

No open messaging

There is no public chat and no way to contact students unsolicited. Mentorship is an intentional, student-initiated commitment.
